Our history
Originally located in the small building pictured, as well as the Post Office this was also the Telegraph Office and a bicycle repair business. Later fuel pumps were added and a canopy, see picture below.
The rear of the building later housed a photographer's studio before both parts become a butcher's shop, with Finstown Post Office having moved for a short time to Union Square. It then returned to Grinnabrek (adjacent house) hence the post box is at the left (west) side of the property. The Post Office reverted to its original and current location again from the mid 1980's
